The Association of Environmental and EcoTourism Journalists of Moldova (AJMTEM) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organisation, It was founded by journalists and its scope of activity covers the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova.
The Association of Environmental and Environmental Tourism Journalists trains environmental media specialists and promotes environmental journalism and journalism in the Republic of Moldova. The association builds and stimulates partnerships between the media, the environmental community and the general public for environmental protection and sustainable development. AJMTEM brings together environmental journalists from Moldova who, through media they represent, are involved in the information and environmental awareness among the population; initiating and carrying out campaigns in the media to save natural monuments, for example.

The Environment Day Festiva 2021 was organised as part of a project funded by GEF SGP -UNDP, with financial assistance of the Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau, and the support of the World Health Organization in Moldova and UNDP Moldova.
Empowering citizens in the Republic of Moldova
AJMTEM implemented three projects within the programme. Two projects focused on mass media articles in which we presented the public services situation in the central area of the country. The third project aimed at strengthening the capacity building of citizens, activists and LPA representatives.
